Anyone else awake at almost 1 am because of a sick toddler? Also, wtf is with how parents take their babies out during summer

with one comment

As much as we love our little toddler and that we are expecting the next one soon enough, I do wonder about the following fact. Which came first

1) Coffee

2) Children

Because if coffee came first then it doesn’t make sense. I can see Hashem contemplating the creation of children and then realizing that parents will need the coffee to be awake for that set child.

Since we are talking about children, I’m trying to wrap my head around this concept. I see babies taken out with the following

1) No sun shield to protect the baby from the sun – I’ve seen pink babies because of this and not because they are newborn

2) Wrapping them up in a blanket or with full layers on during 90 degrees

Just, doesn’t make sense at all. Maybe Jews need a what to expect when in your first year with a baby for Jews in order for them to get some common sense on a roll.

  1. Your opinion on this matter would be appreciated:

BTW, agreed about the over-exposure of babies.
