Neighborhood parking permits. Great idea but what about the Jews who have out of town addresses for their cars and insurance?

Yes, our snide comment gets into that fact. A lot of Jews who live in Brooklyn do use out of state addresses in order to get cheaper car insurance. So what will these people do when the neighborhood parking permits will become a reality? Head over to  Yeshiva World for more info.

  2. Since when is stealing from the auto insurance companies acceptable? I’m sure these same people would be horrified to find a speck of chametz in their house during pesach, but apparently lying and stealing are a-okay. Maybe their Rabbis have some problems closer to home.

  3. You are right. However many Goyim do it too. It that an excuse? No it isn’t. We are all supposed to go according to the law of the land as long as it doesn’t violate halacha. It is sad
