Woman Mohel does a Bris

with 2 comments

The Yeshiva World News is reporting that a woman, who had certified to be a mohel (though it doesn’t go into how but says it has a related story and provides a link to it) had performed a bris milah.

The debates over there in the comments are lively, but seems to state that it was kosher…all based upon what Tzipporah did when Moshe was unable to do the bris of his son.

  1. Excuse me, you are an airhead!

You are concluding that all was kosher based on what it said in a BLOG??!!

    YOU my friend are SICK.

    Please seek help…

Before you do, kindly consult with your Rabbi (if you have one) and ask him the Shaila.

Oh one more thing… a MAN and post this.

  2. Go and ask your Rav. A woman is allowed to do a bris. A man is supposed to do it before a woman, however if she is the only one capable of doing the bris then she is allowed to do it.

I love the fact that you do not know much of anything except for 1) either insulting people 2) going after people or 3) misquoting or misrepresenting what people say
