Yes, it is true, a friend texted me about seeing it in Flatbush while walking around today. I am saddened that a car had been broken into but just find the irony very appealing.

Neighborhood parking permits. Great idea but what about the Jews who have out of town addresses for their cars and insurance?
Yes, our snide comment gets into that fact. A lot of Jews who live in Brooklyn do use out of state addresses in order to get cheaper car insurance. So what will these people do when the neighborhood parking permits will become a reality? Head over to Yeshiva World for more info.

Seriously, not a joke.
Wired Blog has a post about the fact that the US & Israel developed a laser system defense against missiles that really worked. Best in the world actually. However the toxic materials needed to power this super duper laser were really dangerous so the project was scrapped.
So now Sderot is suing to bring the laser back.
It’s a novel approach especially since right now Israel seems to be still too scared to go in and take out every single terrorist and do it right unlike how they did it in Lebanon.
