I have seen some of these bus drivers up close and they are usualy decent people but occassionaly they are low lifes.The question is,what is the percentage of low lifes in the frum community by comparison?I suspect it is much smaller,and I would prefer a torah observant jew driving my kids.Its pure statistics for me.Is it an affront to goyim? Absolutely! Will not doing this make them like us more? Of course not! So,when it comes to my kids I dont care what they think!

The commentator is correct in the idea that yes, our children come first and if we don’t wish for a Non-Jew to bus them then by all means try and get a Jew. HOWEVER the Government should NOT PAY FOR THAT. It is discrimination for a Jewish School System to attempt to do such a thing. It is immoral, illegal, and have we forgotten our history when the Goyim did this to us? We are in Golus, we need to learn to be able to have respect for the peoples around us.

If the Jewish Schools of Lakewood wish to have Jewish Drivers for their children then go ahead and buy some buses and hire those drivers and pay them with the money. Otherwise this cannot be allowed and must be stopped with every ounce of our moral fiber. It is a disgrace to Jews if this is allowed, that public money will be used for discrimination. This will be a major chilul Hashem if the newspapers would pick up this story and run with it.

Think about the consequences of these actions. I am all for the idea of just having Jewish Bus Drivers but Public Government Funds cannot be used to approve discrimination. Public Buses cannot be given over to the Yeshivas for them to pick what drivers they want to drive them.

If they want, they can have these Jewish Men to go ahead and apply for a job at the bus company and then get hired and then request them to drive the buses…and then hopefully the other drivers would not complain about such an action and allow it…then it could be permissible under Federal and State Laws but to do it the way they have been thinking of it…makes both of us shudder because it really does remind of us of how the Goyim treated the Jews over and over again in history.

This is absolutely disgusting in our opinion that the Rabbis in Lakewood could actually be trying to get this done and its going to become a great Chillul Hashem. These Non-Jewish Bus Drivers are employed in the end by the city to provide public busing of children to and from school. They are not teaching them, they have no true influence upon them, yet it would seem that since there might be a problem lets push the goyim to the side and have Jews be the drivers. Since these Jews are being such tzadikim and becoming bus drivers, beyond the salary they would get from the city/state for driving we’ll give them extra money and make the parents pay!

It’s a shame that we have to rely on the goyim to stop this and not rely on the Rabbis to stop what can only be considered immoral, illegal, and a total chilul Hashem.

Jewish BiFemme post is about her going to Miami for Pesach but that isn’t why we’re posting this. Rather it’s the picture about Dust not being Chamatz and the Husband not being the Karbon Pesach which we found very funny.

This has been an ongoing issue since 1991 when New Square promised to fix the situation. They haven’t. The Fire Department that covers the area doesn’t wish to cover them because of the unsafe conditions. How can you expect these men to risk their lives to fight fires and rescue people from burning buildings if the people won’t follow fire codes?

I don’t like the idea that New Square would be without fire protection, and it probably won’t end up like that since Rampano District won’t allow it, however the town should be forced to change all the buildings to ensure that they are up to the proper fire codes when those buildings were constructed.

I enjoyed reading the story and agree with him…it’s sad in that he was quite willing to be accommodating if the other person would accomidate as well. People need to learn you can’t get something for nothing. Go read the entire story.

Seems that instead of getting the full measure of the law thrown against them, they are getting a slap on the wrist. The Non-Jews in Lakewood have already been upset due to the Jews there violating the laws of the State and the Town for some time…how can we even expect them to be respectful to us when we get a slap on the wrist for something that they would of been thrown into jail for?

There is no excuse for violating the law of the land.
